Job summary

The RN uses the nursing process, plans discharge, and teaches patients and families for post-hospitalization, coordinating with the care team.

The successful candidate will hold an active RN license in Florida, with BLS and ACLS within 90 days, and may take Charge Nurse responsibilities with ACLS compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state of practice; compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate discharge planning and interdisciplinary care.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources.
• May assume Charge Nurse duties with ACLS requirements.
