Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks an experienced RN First Assistant to support the OR and perioperative team. You will function as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and as a circulator, delivering safe, patient-family centered care.

Requires CNOR, BLS, and RN licensure in Georgia; two years perioperative RN/RNFA experience, with CVOR experience preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• Two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (CVOR two additional years).
• CNOR and BLS certifications.
• Current Georgia RN licensure (state license).
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred depending on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas for all patient populations.
• Function as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum.
• Serve as RN circulator when required to support the surgical team.
