Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to provide safe, patient-family centered perioperative care across the OR and related areas. You will serve as an RN First Assistant during operative procedures and may act as a circulator as needed.

Required qualifications include graduation from a nursing program, AORN-RN First Assistant program, 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience, CVOR experience if applicable, and current GA RN licensure with CNOR/CRNFA and

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL Multistate license.
• CNOR certification.
• CRNFA certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services.
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures.
• Acts as RN circulator when required during perioperative care.
