Qualifications

• Active RN license (IDFPR) or equivalent in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in general and specialized surgeries, ensuring trays and supplies are ready.
• Provide patient care and support before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications as directed in operative settings.
• Assist with surgical tasks: hemostasis, suturing, draping, tissue handling.
• Position and prepare patient on the operating table.
• Monitor patient vitals and communicate changes.
• Educate patient and family on operation and aftercare.
• Conduct post-operative assessments and monitor recovery.
