Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the NT6 Observation unit in Peoria, IL. The 43-bed Observation unit cares for patients with short lengths of stay (24–48 hours) across cardiac, general surgery and behavioral health, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, planning and implementing nursing care, documenting care accurately, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• BLS certified within 30 days of hire.
• RN license required upon hire; Nursing Diploma.
• 1+ year RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties per unit scope and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation for care plans and chart audits.
• Complete initial assessment and develop care plans.
• Ensure patient and staff safety; communicate to resolve issues.
