Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the NT6 Observation unit. The role features a fast-paced environment with a 43-bed unit, 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants willing to commit 3 years.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and BLS within 30 days of hire.
• RN > 1 year of experience on an observation/acute care unit.
• Diploma in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per unit standards.
• Document accurately and timely for care coordination.
• Assess patients on admission and develop care plans.
• Monitor IV sites every 4 hours and manage new IV starts per policy.
• Ensure patient and staff safety and report hazards.
