Job summary

MercyOne Central Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse for 36 hours per week across 3 shifts. The unit cares for acutely ill adults in urology, nephrology, trauma, and colorectal surgery. You will collaborate with virtual and bedside nursing teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current or compact state licensure as a registered nurse.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, and implements nursing care while ensuring patient comfort.
• Practices safe patient handling techniques.
• Continues to evaluate assigned patients and provides ongoing treatment.
• Guides and directs healthcare personnel in caring for patients.
