Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a registered nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive care for residents in a geriatric setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will administer medications, manage IV therapies where certified, document in the EMR, monitor residents, and mentor licensed practical staff. This on-site position requires flexibility, CPR certification, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing school
• BSN preferred
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing care within the scope of licensure; follows Nurse Practice Act and policies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to define individualized plans of care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mixes TPNs, administers IVs, and handles ports as licensed.
• Passes medications and oversees medication administration; monitors IV fluids and meds.
• Maintains medical records and accurate documentation in EMR per policy.
• Observes resident status and coordinates with resident services for continuity of care.
• Directs and oversees certified staff to ensure EverTrue standards of care.
• Performs rounds and documents resident progress and changes in condition.
• Reports incidents per state and federal regulations.
• Maintains safe environment and adherence to safety protocols
