Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute, supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, seeks an RN to provide skilled nursing care in a 181-bed sub-acute and long-term facility in Virginia. Positions are available as full-time or part-time with evening or night shifts and a shift differential.

The RN will deliver compassionate, resident-centered care, follow care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, accuracy, and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license is required.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing standards and the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated, high-quality care.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and nursing regulations are followed.
