Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate care team in Virginia. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, administer medications, follow care plans, and document accurately to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in Virginia.
• Valid BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per standards and written plan of care.
• Follow individualized care plans with Nurse Manager and team.
• Administer medications per plan and facility policy.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly to supervising staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation per orders and regulatory standards.
• Foster a safe, respectful, therapeutic environment.
