Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator who is a Registered Nurse to oversee patient flow and prioritization during full-time night shifts. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available.

This role coordinates with physicians, manages bed placement, and ensures timely communication across departments while maintaining high quality patient care in a busy, 11-bed ED setting.

Qualifications

• RN with active Georgia licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certification required.
• Stroke knowledge and ability to triage and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Direct all team members for prioritization and patient flow.
• Serve as single point for MDs, streamline communications.
• Coordinate patient placement with Mission Control and Bed Control.
• Monitor room availability and turnover; ensure orders and procedures are coordinated.
• Notify providers when patients are ready for disposition; liaise with other departments.
