Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center – Emergency Department is seeking a qualified RN Flow Coordinator for the ED. The 38-bed ED sees about 160 patients daily and serves as a primary Stroke and STEMI receiving center with thrombolytics available.

Two helicopter pads on campus support rapid patient transport. Join a team with ED flow coordinators, nurses, paramedics, techs and staff who collaborate to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• RN with Georgia licensure and BCLS/ACLS/PALS required.
• Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• Experience in quality or process-improvement projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and formulate a plan of care.
• Organize patient data into a plan of care and identify outcomes.
• Coordinate care with ED staff and providers to ensure quality care.
• Document patient care and concerns in patient records.
