Wellpath in Rutland, Vermont seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a compassionate, team-based facility. You will apply the nursing process from assessment through evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) and deliver patient education and care activities.

The role emphasizes strong communication, critical thinking, and precise documentation of nursing encounters, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year clinic experience.
• Licenses/ Certifications: Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs under Charge Nurse(s).
• Administer medications, obtain diagnostic tests, and assist with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care per policy.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP, attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
• Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel.
