Job summary

Northeast Methodist Hospital in Live Oak, TX seeks an experienced ER travel nurse through Medasource. The assignment features a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours, on-site shifts, and a mix of day and night rotations with weekend requirements. Must have active TX RN license, PALS/ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS, with at least 2 years ER experience.

Requested Skill Set:

Must have

• Must have PALS or ENPC
• ACLS
• BLS
• TNCC
• NIHSS REQUIRED
• At least 2+ years of ER Experience

• CEN

• Meditech experience preferred

• ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Procedures performed on unit:

• Conscious Sedation
• Participate Intubations
• Behavioral Health Watch
• Sepsis
• Stroke (Tpa administration)
• Chest pain (Heart Alerts)

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

• Scrub Color
• RN: Navy (undershirts and jackets white, navy, black only)
• Nail Policy – No acrylic, no longer ¼ inch, clean, no chipped nail polish
• Hair – Off shoulders, natural color
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not fessible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited.
