Medasource seeks an experienced RN to staff the ED at Parkridge Chattanooga. The unit features 19 beds plus a 4-bed psych pod on the 1st floor, with 4:1 patient ratios and 36-hour scheduling. You will work with seasoned staff in a fast-paced environment, following chest pain and stroke protocols.

ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI and an active RN license are required. Navy scrubs are the dress code, and tele-psych collaboration is available as part of care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI and an active RN license.

Responsabilités

• Provide ED nursing care on unit with emphasis on sepsis and stroke protocols.
• Coordinate with day/night staff to ensure coverage and patient safety.
• Document care accurately in Meditech and follow unit guidelines.

• Type of equipment: Hillrom, stryker, GE, lifepak defib
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements:36 hours
• Floating policy: may be floated to psych pod or to another Parkridge system ED. We have Parkridge East, Main, and North
• Patient Experience requirements:
