Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health NP or PA for an outpatient OB/Gyn and Family Medicine role. The position offers a base salary with an annual incentive plan and comprehensive benefits for provider and family.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no after-hours call and an average of 15 to 21 patients per day. Epic EMR is used for patient records, with opportunities in prenatal care and contraception services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year obstetrics experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all pregnancy stages.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Education

California NP licensure or PA license

Unrestricted licensure as NP or PA

NPI and DEA

Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
