Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This role is 100% outpatient with hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, no after-hours call, and an expected 15–21 patients per day.

Epic EMR is used to manage patient care. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of Women’s Health or related NP/PA experience, with OB experience preferred and California NP/PA licensure.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of obstetrics experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
