Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department Float Pool at St. Francis Downtown. The RN will assess, plan, and deliver patient care across multiple departments and sites as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, documentation, and ensuring patient safety while working in a fast-paced ED environment. Requires active RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS per assignment.

Qualifications

• RN with acute care experience preferred.
• State nursing license in designated employment state.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS as per specialty.
• Experience in float pool or cross-site staffing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, analyze, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Float to multiple departments/sites as needed.
• Coordinate nursing care using best available evidence.
• Document care and patient response accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and participate in quality improvement.
