Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license with active, unrestricted privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BSN preferred where available.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care from admission to discharge.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Administers medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates ethical decision-making and patient-centered care; participates in safe delegation.
• Communicates effectively and provides feedback to team members.
