Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, North Carolina, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient care teams. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with physicians, therapists, and support staff to achieve optimal outcomes.

This role requires a valid RN license (multi-state compact preferred), BLS, and typically 1 year of bedside nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice where RN provides care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
