This role partners with nursing leadership to align education with resident care goals, participates in recruitment, and plans morale-boosting activities while upholding highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and teaching principles.
• Experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Ability to care for age-related needs of residents.
• Must be a supportive team member with effective communication.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and related regulations.
• Current RN license in state.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the new hire orientation process and serve as the first point of contact for new team members.
• Plan, develop, and deliver clinical education programs and in-service training for nursing and support staff.
• Assess ongoing educational needs and design training initiatives for competency and professional growth.
• Maintain documentation of education, training, competencies, and attendance.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to align education with facility goals and resident-centered care.
• Assist with recruitment and hiring processes and participate in interviews.
• Support employee engagement through morale-boosting activities and recognition programs.
• Promote exceptional customer service, professionalism, and teamwork across departments.
• Mentor staff and support continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Stay current with clinical standards, regulatory changes, and best practices.
