Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to provide expertise in practice, development, education, and quality for the nursing staff in Memphis, TN. S/he will collaborate with the Professional Development Specialist and unit leadership to coordinate ongoing education, orientation, and competency validation.

The role emphasizes mentorship, clinical leadership, and ensuring alignment with current practice guidelines and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; BSN preferred or current RN to BSN enrollment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing education/educator role.
• Educator/instructor experience in clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports nurse externs and residents’ education and transition into their professional role.
• Collaborates with Unit Manager to coordinate education activities.
• Participates in nurse extern and resident interviews and onboarding.
• Ensures new hires understand orientation requirements and access.
• Models excellence and advanced nursing practice through evidence-based teaching.
