Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Utica in Utica, NY is seeking an RN Educator to join our team. This role focuses on developing evidence-based education programs to improve staff competency and delivery of high-quality clinical services.

You will collaborate with management and clinical partners to assess educational needs, create training materials, and deliver orientation and Train the Trainer programs. A NY state RN license and a healthcare degree are required.

Qualifications

• NY State RN License.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement evidence-based quality education programs and activities to promote individual development, competency, and delivery of high-quality clinical services.
• Collaborate with management, staff, and external partners to assess, integrate, and evaluate educational needs and resources.
• Develop, review, and update training manuals, policies/procedures, related job aids, and clinical pathways.
• Educate staff in clinical policies, criteria, and procedures.
• Provide an overview of departmental functions, responsibilities, and relationships with other departments.
• Conduct new staff orientation, review of care management, intake, and utilization management activities and documentation.
• Plan, develop, evaluate, and implement educational programs and training activities based on assessed learning needs.
• Provide consultation and education via orientation and Train the Trainer programs to strategic partners.
• Conduct quality review audits of clinical teams and strategic partners to ensure company protocols and standards are met.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or related field
