Job summary

Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Oneonta, NY is seeking an RN Educator to lead CNA education programs, orient new staff, and supervise clinical competency training. The RN will coordinate guest educators and implement education calendars for CNAs, with ongoing in-service training for all employees.

Requirements include a NYS RN license and CPR certification; two years in long-term care are preferred. A sign-on bonus of 7,500 USD is offered to join our team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in long-term care.
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide general orientation to all new employees.
• Conduct clinical competency training and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Coordinate guest educators for programs, such as IVs and Respiratory.
• Implement education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants per the education calendar.
• In-service education of all employees as needed.
