Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC is seeking an experienced Manager (RN) – Education to lead the education team, oversee staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while advancing patient care initiatives.

This full-time, day-shift role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to develop staff through education programs. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required to support service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for leadership in education services.
• BLS certification required or equivalent licensure.
• Experience with budgeting and regulatory compliance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
• Directs and evaluates department operations, including patient care delivery, information systems, service levels, and complaint management.
• Plans staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares and monitors budgets and coordinates internal/external audits.
• Fosters professional growth and integrates evidence-based practices.
