Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool.

You will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across multiple Wellstar facilities, delivering triage, treatments and collaboration with physicians in fast-paced ED environments. Qualifications include 2+ years of ED RN experience, active RN license in Georgia or a compact state, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• TNCC or ATCN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care—assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations and codes.
• Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in compliance with WellStar standards.
