Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an RN for the nursing float pool in North Carolina. The role covers 3 x 12-hour shifts per week from 7a–7p, with floating to multiple units including Union and Union West, Waxhaw ED, and Anson as needed. ER experience preferred; hourly pay range shown.

We value strong clinical judgment, safety culture, and patient-centered care. Requires RN licensure and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adept EHR use.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact or single-state license.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Upholds a culture of safety and quality.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and teamwork.
