Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Emergency Department seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool on a full-time night shift. The role covers Pineville ED and three freestanding EDs, with regular float between Pineville, Steele Creek, Providence, and Ballantyne to ensure coverage and patient care across the region.

You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold safe, high-quality patient care while meeting the needs of diverse ED

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
