Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) to design, implement, and evaluate training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff. Responsibilities include needs assessments, collaboration with department directors, and ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• RN license in MA required.
• Healthcare experience; long-term care preferred.
• Infection control knowledge and experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing training programs for staff and patients, focusing on care, communication, and customer service.
• Conducting needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and plan corrective actions.
• Collaborating with department directors and managers to maintain policies and standards.
• Evaluating training effectiveness and making improvement recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate records of training activities, attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
