Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces in Las Cruces, NM, seeks a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead Quality, Risk Management and Medical Staff activities. You will oversee clinical risk programs, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives while guiding staffing, budgeting, and strategic goals.

The role requires an active RN license, a BSN, and 5+ years of nursing experience with 3+ years in a director role; MSN/MBA and CPHRM are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; advanced degrees preferred.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience with 3+ years in Director/Manager roles.
• Experience in a for-profit hospital is strongly preferred; leadership experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Quality, Risk Management, and Medical Staff functions.
• Direct operational performance, staffing, budgeting, and compliance activities.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure regulatory readiness and drive quality improvements.
• Shape patient care journeys using plan-of-care interventions and innovative care delivery.
