Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Director of Risk who will lead the risk management program, train leaders and staff, and ensure compliance across the facility.

As part of Lifepoint Health, you will oversee professional liability, general liability, and property claims, while serving as an ethics and compliance officer. RN license and nursing leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• At least 5 years' experience in nursing with a minimum of 3 years as a Director/Manager.
• CPHRM certification preferred upon hire and required within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the hospital's risk management program, including identification, avoidance and mitigation of risk.
• Train leaders, providers and staff on risk management and reporting of incidents.
• Manage insurance policies for professional and general liability and property claims.
