You will oversee staffing, training, discipline and supervision of all nursing personnel within budget constraints and with capital purchases in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered RN with a current license in the District of Columbia.
• Two years’ geriatric nursing experience; nursing administration in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN Director of Nursing is responsible for 24-hour supervision, provision and quality of nursing care in the facility.
• Responsible for selection, training, discipline and supervision of all nursing personnel.
• Oversee procurement of supplies/equipment, operate within the departmental budget and capital purchases.
