Job summary

Advena Living in Rose Hill, KS seeks an experienced RN Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care.

In this leadership role, you will guide clinical operations, develop nursing staff, oversee staffing, scheduling, and compliance with federal, state, and local long-term care requirements, while partnering with facility leadership and the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Kansas Registered Nurse license or multistate license.
• Long-term care leadership experience and knowledge of applicable regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.

• Recruit, coach, develop, and support nursing team members.
