Job summary

Advena Living of Bonner Springs is seeking an experienced RN Director of Nursing to lead the nursing department and guide clinical operations for high-quality, compassionate care. The role focuses on staff development, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and collaboration with facility leadership to achieve strong resident outcomes.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical systems, while mentoring the nursing team and ensuring adherence to applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered Kansas RN license.
• Long-term care leadership experience with regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, staffing and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and team-building skills.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications preferred.

• Recruit, coach, develop, and support nursing team members.

What You’ll Bring

• Current, unencumbered Kansas Registered Nurse license or multistate license.
• Long-term care leadership experience and knowledge of applicable regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred.
