Job summary

Advena Living is seeking a Director of Nursing Assistants (DONA) to lead the nursing department, set the standard for attentive care, and help CNAs and CMAs grow with confidence. You will supervise CNAs and CMAs, coordinate hiring, onboarding, training, and competency documentation, manage schedules, and promote teamwork and Advena Living standards of care while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas Nurse Aide certification, or the ability to satisfy Kansas requirements for certification before performing duties that require it.
• Leadership, scheduling, training, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
