Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking an RN Director for the Cardiac Cath Lab to lead 24/7 operations, drive high-quality patient care, and optimize lab efficiency. The role requires strong staff management, collaboration with cardiology and medical staff, and a focus on patient and physician satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS current, and a proven track record in CVL nursing leadership within an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS current or within 30 days.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum 3 years Cardiac Cath Lab nursing in an acute care hospital.
• Minimum 2 years nurse management experience in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality service and 24-hour operations.
• Lead and manage Cath Lab staff and resources.
• Optimize resource allocation and scheduling.
• Foster strong relationships between patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cath Lab Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and efficient operations on a 24-hour basis. Your leadership will be crucial in managing staff, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering strong relationships between patients, physicians, and healthcare providers to promote teamwork and customer satisfaction.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab (CVL) clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting

• Minimum of 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital Setting
