Job summary

HCA Florida Westside Hospital in Plantation, FL is seeking a RN Nurse Manager for the Operating Room to lead daily operations, ensure patient-centered care, and drive staffing efficiency in a high-acuity surgical unit.

The role requires Florida RN license, OR nursing experience, and leadership in nursing administration; sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical Operating Room or Circulating nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

• The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Minimum 3 years of clinical Operating Room or Circulating nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting
