Job summary

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the OR unit at HCA Florida Westside Hospital. You will monitor clinical performance, enforce policies, and uphold safety standards while guiding a multidisciplinary team toward timely, efficient patient care.

This role requires extensive operating room experience, leadership ability, and a passion for improving outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse (RN) and ongoing eligibility per state requirements.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) with an Associate Degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical operating room or circulating nursing experience in acute care.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Charge Nurse/Coordinator or Nursing Management in acute care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Minimum 3 years of clinical Operating Room or Circulating nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting
