Job summary

Avita Health System – Avita Bucyrus Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Administration Department at the Bucyrus location. The RN will set up, perform and manage dialysis treatments across patients, traveling to all campuses and coordinating with nephrologists to prioritize care based on patient needs.

Required are current Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications. A BSN or higher is preferred, with experience in acute/critical care.

Qualifications

• Required BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Set up, perform and take down dialysis treatments for a variety of patients.
• Travel to all campuses and coordinate dialysis therapies with nephrologist based on patient needs.
• Access dialysis catheters and fistulas and document care per standards.
• Maintain patient advocacy and align with the facility’s mission.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Administration Department at our Bucyrus location.

Position Overview

This role will be responsible to set up, perform and take down dialysis treatments on a variety of patients. Must be able to travel to all campuses and be able to prioritize dialysis therapies with nephrologist based on the patient needs. Must be able to access dialysis catheters and fistulas for dialysis treatments. Must be able to follow established standards of practice. Must be able to charge and document effectively. Must maintain role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic progra1 to 2 years nursing experience in acute care/critical care environment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Ohio.
