Job summary

Avita Health System's Avita Bucyrus Hospital in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department on the night shift. Provides professional nursing care, coordinates with disciplines, monitors patient status, and communicates with ED physicians.

Required: Ohio RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS/TNCC within specified timelines. Night shift, 7p–7a, 72 hours per pay period. Includes a commitment bonus up to $25,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department and coordinate care planning.
• Assess patients, determine priorities, and manage patient flow and status changes.
• Communicate changes with ED physicians and respond to clinical changes promptly.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our EmergencyDepartment at our Bucyruslocation.

Position Overview

Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS certified within 3 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within one year of hire.

Preferred:

• 1 – 2 years Registered Nurse experience within the last 24months.
