Job summary

Avita Health System in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Warrior to join its MedSurg Department and float among three hospitals. This role emphasizes direct patient care, shift-to-shift continuity, and supervising nursing assistants to ensure seamless patient outcomes.

Qualifications include an Ohio RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience, and current BLS & ACLS certifications. Preferred credentials include telemetry, critical care experience, and PALS for charge-trained nurses.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN)s Weekend Warriors

to join our MedSurg Department. This position will float between our 3 hospitals.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Critical Care Experience highly preferred
• Previous telemetry experience.
• PALS certification. (For charge trained nurses.)
