Job summary

Avita Bucyrus Hospital in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This full-time position includes a commitment bonus up to $25,000 and an emphasis on high-quality patient care and teamwork.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, supervise nursing assistants and staff, and educate patients and families while upholding the hospital’s mission and standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit.
• Ensures continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care and supervising nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and maintains patient advocacy in alignment with the organization’s mission.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICUDepartment at our Bucyrus location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
