Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Hamden, CT seeks a Registered Nurse with an active license to support residents’ daily living and medication management. You will collaborate with physicians and families, supervise medication routines, and participate in care planning.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, completing required training, and attending in-service programs. Schedule: Tue-Sat, 8:30am–4:30pm, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current license in good standing.
• Certification or licensed per state guidelines.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification if required by State.
• Must complete Atria’s Medication Management Training (if providing medication reminders or assistance with medication).
• Must complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Assist in supervising the medication program and residents' self-administration of medications.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents to Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
• Assist in resident assessments and services plans.
• Assist in training assisted living staff and orientation of new staff.
• Attend scheduled in-service programs and staff meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services staff.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
