Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or licensed vocational nurse per state regulations.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessments.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing healthcare staff.
• Experience at a department head level in Assisted Living or related industry.
• CPR certified and knowledge of basic first aid.
• Experience coordinating educational events.
• Must complete Atria Medication management training and all required programs.
• Must complete state required trainings to maintain licensure.
• Able to work flexible hours and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and schedule the resident services staff according to Atria’s policies.
• Establish and maintain a medication system compliant with laws and guidelines.
• Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and service plans.
• Operate the Resident Services Department within budget and in accordance with policies.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure compliance and state regulations.
• Act as a contact for issues related to resident care within the community.
• Schedule and supervise staff; cover staffing as needed.
• Provide activities of daily living assistance to residents as needed.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing training.
