Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our day shift in a full-time capacity. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and adjust individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Collaborative teamwork and accurate documentation are essential to deliver high-quality care consistent with our mission. The ideal candidate holds an RN license with an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 1+ acute

Qualifications

• Associates of Nursing is required (RN) and Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and factors affecting care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care within the team.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly.
