Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. The role provides direct patient care, medication administration and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

You will document care, educate patients and families, uphold safety, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while following hospital protocols. Qualified applicants hold RN licensure, 1+ year of medical-surgical and preferred surgery experience, and

Associate's degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care to promote understanding and compliance.
