Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver is hiring registered nurses for full-time night shifts. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team.

Eligible candidates receive robust benefits and opportunities for professional growth. The role requires an RN license (BLS) and an associate degree in nursing at minimum, with a Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• RN licensure and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain timely documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement.
• Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
