Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd location provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care in a Christian not-for-profit setting.

This part-time day shift offers 24 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k), and

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinates care, performs resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
