Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to residents using the full nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care across all care phases.

The position requires an RN license in Minnesota, with a typical day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, full-time scheduling of 72 bi-weekly hours, and inclusion of a $10,000 sign-on bonus if eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with resident, family and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment and education; perform nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
