Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care using the nursing process. You will work with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care across all stages of health maintenance and treatment.

You will coordinate care, educate residents, and perform nursing interventions within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in practicing state (or multi-state license).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate full scope nursing practice per state rules and ethics.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, educate and perform nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
